Hexagon to launch new product by Dec
Hexagon AB, a Sweden-based IT company on Wednesday announced its plan to launch a new product by this year end. For this, the company has set up an exclusive research and development lab at its largest R&D hub, the Hexagon Capability Center India (HCCI) in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Hexagon AB, a Sweden-based IT company on Wednesday announced its plan to launch a new product by this year end. For this, the company has set up an exclusive research and development lab at its largest R&D hub, the Hexagon Capability Center India (HCCI) in Hyderabad. The technology major also said it will employ 60 – 65 graduates by the end of June, 2023.
The company, in 2022, strengthened its HCCI team by adding 350 employees. Currently, they have 1,965 employees at the R&D hub in the city. The previous year, HCCI had made an announcement on recruitment of fresher’s, on those lines, Navaneet Mishra, SVP and General Manager, HCCI said, “As informed last year, we will be hiring around 65 new graduates from tier II colleges of the State. While 80 per cent of the graduates will be hired with Computer Science background, the rest will be selected from Mechanical and other engineering stream.”
In the fourth quarter of 2022, HCCI unveiled a Geospatial Accelerator Zone at T-Hub. Currently, it is supporting eight startups with developing proof of concept.
Mishra, without revealing details about a project, informed about a new product launch that will take place by this year end. “We are creating a solution around Life Science and Healthcare. A safe lab has been created at HCCI to work on this product line. The markets trust in our innovation potential has led us to work on this breakthrough solution. Europe will definitely be one of the markets where this product will be launched,” he said.
